Where Faith Inspires CREATIVITY

Cancellation Policy

This policy governs refunds for both general attendee tickets and selected vendor/exhibitor fees for the Muslim Creatives Fest.

1. General Attendee Ticket Policy

Due to limited capacity and administrative costs, the following refund schedule applies to all purchased admission tickets:

  • Before December 1st: Attendees are eligible for a full refund (minus processing fees).

  • December 2nd – December 20th: Attendees are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • After December 20th: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be issued after this date.

  • Transfer Policy: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no additional cost. The name change must be requested via email at least 48 hours before the event date.

 2. Makers Bazaar & Vendor Fees Policy

Vendor selection is a highly curated process, and booth space is limited. The following policies apply once a vendor has been selected and the booth fee has been paid:

  • Booth Fees are Non-Refundable: Once a vendor application is approved and the fee is paid, all booth fees are non-refundable. The payment secures your dedicated space, and resources are immediately allocated to your sponsorship and digital promotion.

  • No Shows: If a confirmed vendor fails to show up on the day of the event, the booth fee will be forfeited entirely, and no refund will be issued.

Event Cancellation

In the extremely unlikely event that the Muslim Creatives Fest must be cancelled by the organizer (due to venue issues, severe weather, or public health mandates), all ticket holders and confirmed vendors will be issued a full refundof their ticket or booth fee.

Family Registration Meaning

Group Pass Policy (4-Person Discount)

1. Eligibility and Definition

The Group Pass is a special discounted ticket designed for groups of four (4) individuals.

  • Eligibility: The Group Pass is available to any four (4) attendees, regardless of their relationship. The group does not need to be a family; it is open to friends, colleagues, or any four individuals attending together.

  • Purpose: To offer substantial savings and encourage group attendance at the Muslim Creatives Fest.

2. Access and Value

  • Full Access: Each of the four individuals receives a Full Access Ticket, granting them all the same perks, including entry to the Keynote Stages, Poets Stage, Makers’ Bazaar, and all community programs.

  • Children’s Program Access: If one or more members of the group are children aged 2–12, they will receive free access to the Imaginative, Supervised Children’s Program, in addition to their Group Pass value.

3. Purchase and Check-In

  • Single Purchase Required: The Group Pass must be purchased as a single unit transaction (one ticket covers four people). It cannot be purchased as four separate discounted tickets.

  • Check-In: All four individuals must check in together at the Main Entrance to receive their wristbands and gain entry.

  • Transfer Policy: The Group Pass may be transferred to another party in its entirety (all four names changed) but cannot be separated or split into individual tickets for resale or transfer.

Dress Code: Cozy

The Muslim Creatives Fest is a faith-guided event hosted on the premises of the MAS Queens Center. We ask all attendees to honor the mission and environment of the festival by adhering to a modest and respectful dress code.

Core Principle: Modesty and Comfort

We encourage attendees to dress in a manner that allows for comfort and full participation in all activities, while observing the spirit of Islamic modesty.

Guidelines for Men

  • Upper Body: We request that shirts cover the shoulders and chest.

  • Lower Body: Pants or shorts extending past the knee (e.g., trousers, jeans, or cargo shorts) are encouraged.

Guidelines for Women

  • General Modesty: Clothing should be loose-fitting, non-transparent, and cover the chest, midriff, and back.

  • Head Covering (Optional): While we warmly welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds, and a head covering is not mandatory for entry, many attendees and staff choose to observe hijab. We encourage dressing in a way that respects the majority environment.

Important Notes

  • Footwear: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended due to the size of the venue and the standing nature of the event.

  • Cultural Attire: We strongly encourage attendees to wear cultural or ethnic attire! This is a festival celebrating heritage and diversity.

  • Security: Event staff reserve the right to respectfully address attire that is deemed overly revealing, offensive, or disruptive to the family-friendly and faith-centered atmosphere of the festival.
